Stay Connected: What’s Happening at Antioch This August and September!

Greetings, Antioch Family!

We are so excited to share what God is doing in our community. As we move through the month of August, we have several opportunities for fellowship, growth, and celebration. Here is everything you need to know to stay involved and informed.

1. SALT Ministry: Single Adults Living Truth

Saturday, August 22nd

Calling all singles! Whether you are never-married, divorced, or widowed, the SALT Ministry (Single Adults Living Truth) invites everyone aged 18 and older to a special gathering.

Led by Minister Patricia Floyd, Brother Steve Chandler, and Sister Kathy Chapman, the SALT Ministry’s mission is to help you build meaningful relationships through fellowship, grow deeper in God’s word through faith, and discover your God-given purpose in your single season.

  • For more information: Contact the Antioch offices at 210-225-2452.

2. August Mid-Week Hiatus & Power Up Wednesdays

Please take note of our schedule changes for the remainder of August. Power Up Wednesdays, Midweek Manna, and Wednesday Bible Study with Pastor Kemp are currently on hiatus from August 5th through August 26th.

  • The Antioch Prayer Meeting will continue on its regular schedule at 5:15 PM.
  • Mark Your Calendars: Midweek Manna and Bible Study will return on Wednesday, September 2nd at 12:00 PM and 6:30 PM. We can’t wait to see you there for a fresh start in September!

3. Celebrating 17 Years: Pastoral Anniversary

Every Sunday in September

Join us throughout the month of September as we celebrate a major milestone: the 17th Pastoral Anniversary of Pastor Kenneth Kemp and Lady Velma Kemp!

We are honored to host an incredible lineup of guest ministers during our anniversary celebration, including:

  • Dr. Eric Mansfield
  • Dr. Christopher Stackhouse
  • Dr. Eric Alexander
  • Reverend Dexter McDonald

Let’s come together to honor their leadership and the amazing work they continue to do for our family of faith.

4. Kicking It With the Kemps

Sunday, September 13th (After the 10:00 AM Service)

Attention Youth and Young Adults! We invite you to head over to Rector Hall immediately following the 10:00 AM service on September 13th for “Kicking It With the Kemps.”

This is a casual, open conversation with Pastor and First Lady Kemp designed to connect beyond the Sunday morning pulpit. Topics will include:

  • Biblical wisdom for modern life
  • Practical life advice
  • Faith, family, and everyday living

It’s a great opportunity to build stronger relationships with our leaders and each other as we grow in Christ.
