Youth Day at Antioch: Sunday, April 26
During our morning service, we’re thrilled to present Youth Day at Antioch. We welcome our guest minister, Reverend Lewis Johnson from the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.
The theme for this special service is “Back in the Habit: Building a Life Rooted in Jesus,” based on Colossians 2:6-7. Join us as we encourage our young people to grow deep in their faith.
The Celebration Continues!
The fun doesn’t stop after the service! We invite the entire Antioch family to our Youth Day Post-Service Celebration at the Main Event (1911 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio).
- Time: 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM
- Cost: Only $10 per youth
- What’s Included: Two slices of pizza, a drink, a $10 game card, access to bowling lanes, and unlimited laser tag!

Healthcare and Spirituality Lecture: Tuesday, April 28
On Tuesday, join us at the UT Health San Antonio South Campus in the Holly Auditorium from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
The Frank Bryant Jr. MD Memorial Distinguished Lecture will feature our very own Reverend Dr. Kenneth R. Kemp. He will be presenting on the vital topic: “The Intersection Between Healthcare and Spirituality.”
This event is free and open to all. It will also be live-streamed in Rector Hall, and lunch is included for those attending in person. To attend, please register at TexasHumanities.org/lecture.
Mental Health Matters: Saturday, May 9
The San Antonio Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. presents “Mental Health Matters: For Him, Her, and Everyone” here at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
Join distinguished presenters Samantha Battles, Kimberly Hawthorne, and Joseph Lee for an insightful session from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. To register, please use the QR code found on our digital flyers.
Mother’s Day Celebration: Sunday, May 10
We are getting ready to celebrate all the wonderful mothers in our congregation on Sunday, May 10.
If you would like to be part of our Mother’s Day Tribute Video, please provide us with a camera-ready photo of you and your mom. Individual names can also be submitted for recognition. We look forward to honoring the women who inspire us!
